MAINTENANCE

There is so much you can do to keep your vehicle performing like it should.  Besides having your oil changed on a regular basis, it is very important to follow the recommended maintenance schedule set by your vehicle's manufacturer.  This is not only one of the best ways to make sure your vehicle will provide you with years of service, it is also the most cost-effective way to go about it. Preventative maintenance is a must.  Please know that scheduled maintenance differs from vehicle to vehicle and it is also directly affected by your driving habits.  We will be happy to take a look at your vehicle and provide our recommendations.

      TUNING & BRAKES

Ritter's Auto is available to take care of all your brake repairs and services.  We service all makes and models and will ensure your braking system is working properly and safely.  We can advise you as to how often you should change your brake pads and we can replace any brake part for you.  Keeping your brakes properly maintained is imperitive to keep you driving safely.  We can resurface rotors or rear drums, re-pack front wheel bearings (unless they are a sealed unit), inspect master cylinders and brake hoses and then road test your vehicle.

Regular engine tune-ups bring power and efficiency back to your car. We will visually inspect all of your engine components and install new parts (including spark plugs and fuel filters) as needed.  After a tune-up, you'll discover your engine starts easier, runs smoother and is more efficient. A regular engine tune-up will lower emissions, improve fuel economy and restore lost power.

Getting tune-ups based on the vehicle manufacturer's recommended schedule means you are  investing in the long-term health of your car.

        OIL CHANGES

Arizona drivers are subjected to some of the most severe conditions, including extreme dust, frequent stop and go traffic and high temperatures!  On most vehicles, it is recommended that the oil be changed every 3,000 miles.  This helps to ensure that your car's engine will run smoothly.  Our oil change service includes oil, oil filter replacement, lube chassis, fluid check and a tire rotation.

        FLUIDS CHECK

Your brakes, engine cooling systems, transmission system, and power steering systems are all crucial components and should all be serviced regularly. Doing regular system flushes will reduce the potential for costly repair needs.   Contact Ritter's Auto Repair and we can make sure you are on top of your maintenance routine.

        BELTS AND HOSES

Your vehicle's belts and hoses are crucial functions of  your engine's charging, air conditioning and cooling systems.  We understand the importance of routine belt and hose maintenance along with the recommended replacement intervals for your vehicle.  In the Arizona heat, belts and hoses have shorter than normal life spans. Increased temperatures can accelerate deterioration of the rubber components. Some warning signs that your vehicle's belts and hoses may need some attention can include air conditioning failure, loss of power due to alternator discharging, coolant or other fluid leaks, illuminated dash board lights, steam rising from the engine, grinding and screeching noises when the engine starts, and  many other signs of wear. Leave it to the experts at Ritter's Auto Repair to keep you up and running.
